Our Story
Born from experience. Built with purpose.
Clint is a native of and graduated from Star Valley High School. Growing up he worked with his family in the timber business harvesting timber in the surrounding mountain ranges, and milling many of those logs at his fathers sawmill. At the age of 18 he got his commercial drivers license and started driving his dads log truck hauling many many loads of logs out of the forest. Post high school education was received from Salt Lake Community College, and the University of Utah. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College in Davenport Iowa. Post graduate studies consisted of a 300 hour course on Chiropractic Philosophy where he earned recognition for the successful completion of that course.
Becca was born and raised in Orem, Utah. Her parents immigrated to the United States from England and she is the youngest of their 8 children. Becca’s Dad, Gordon, was a general contractor so she spent many hours in her younger years helping to clean up job sights and loved tagging along with him. When Becca was 15, her brothers opened up a Medical Supply business in Utah. Becca started out as a delivery driver for her brothers and has been involved in every aspect of the Medical Supply industry over the last 30 years. Becca graduated with her associates degree from Utah Valley State University and transferred to the University of Utah where she met Clint and also graduated with her Bachelors of Science degree in 2005. Shortly after her graduation, she and Clint moved to Davenport, Iowa where he completed Chiropractic school.
After Clint's graduation in 2009 they moved back to Star Valley to begin a practice and raise their family. In 2012 they recognized a need for a place to get simple equipment like front wheeled walkers, wheel chairs and other related DME supplies. Using their combined skills and knowledge in the industry they decided to get the wheels in motion to start up a new business, Star Valley Medical Supply. They opened their first location on Main Street in Afton in 2013. In the Fall of 2014 they moved into their newly remodeled and current building at 32 E 4th Ave.
Clint has enjoyed having the combination of user experience and advanced professional level education to be able to help people understand the anatomical and physiological “WHY” behind the products and services they provide. Both Clint and Becca try their best to communicate clearly and answer as many questions as they can so that you know your expectations and personal responsibility to fulfill your insurance contractual requirements when it comes to finances.
We feel like we are uniquely positioned to use our years of industry experience, and professional education to help you understand every aspect of the products we sell, and if it is allowed by your insurance plan. We don't know everything, and when we don't we will tell you so. And if needed, we will work hard to find you an answer.
